Preacher gives interesting gay rights speech (by Weequay2)

This is a clever little speech you must watch until the end. It poignantly brings into focus just how out of step the evangelical right is with what Martin Luther King, following pre-civil war era Unitarian preacher and abolitionist Theodore Parker, called the “arc of the moral universe,” which, to quote King, “although long, is bending toward justice.”

King used that formulation in his 1956 Statement on Ending the Bus Boycott in Montgomery.
